2014
St Tysilios, Selack, Ross on Wye, Herefordshire.
16th December
Our driver and mate arrived in the dark after a mammoth day of deliveries, mainly to churches we'd been to previously. By the time of this delivery it was night time.
A lovely Mr Atock met the van near Ross and guided them
to this remotest of churches. One day we will get some pictures!
St Andrew's, Cranwell, Lincs
25th November
Steeped in history, see the Saxon scratchings and the Norman arches, and our Diamond Red/Blue!

Thursday 14th August 2014
St Cuthbert Church, Redhouse, Sunderland.
St Cuthbert Church chose one of our many fabrics not in the usual swatch. This quality hessian terra cotta weave looks superb in the church. The driver and mate were met by an eager pair of helpers & between them, all 110 cushions were soon in place.
Thursday 31st July 2014
St Mary and St Thomas A Becket, Much Birch, Herefordshire.
Cardinal Rouge fabric from Plumbs always looks so striking. A perfect match also for the carpet.
Wednesday 30th July 2014
St Margaret, Rottingdean, Sussex
The red scroll fabric proves to be popular. This church on the south coast couldn't be much further away from the last time we used it on the Isle of Lewis!
St Mary, Sundridge, Sevenoaks, Kent
Another fabric from the Bradbury Flamblend range 009 Artic. This blue took some finding until once again Bradbury had the solution. The patterns for the two pillars arrived at Safefoam at lunchtime on Monday 28th. Foam and fabric cut and delivered on 30th!
St John the Baptist, Meopham, Kent
Here the church has been beautifully restored, and all the pews removed except the choir stalls. The problem was a fabric to match the chairs! No problem for Safefoam.
A fabric from the Bradbury Flamblend range did the trick, the perfect match because it is the same fabric, Cressida.
St Peter and Paul, West Mersea, Colchester, Essex
The driver and mate were met by a very capable pair who had the cushions in place in double quick time. This patterned 100% wool fabric looks fantastic.
These pews were 15 inches front to back.

A Further visit to Clitheroe Church
See how the pews are very narrow and don't have a backrest?
We needed a special solution for this lovely church. We needed cut out notches to fit the pew support rail, plus Velcro fasteners to stop any sliding.
The pictures above tell all!
Everybody is pleased with the solution.
We hope that our next visit will be to do more of the pews.
Tuesday 24th June 2014
Selby Abbey, Yorkshire.
The driver had no excuse for losing his way this time. Tourist brown signs led him all the way to the Abbey.
Often called the hidden gem of Yorkshire, this is probably the biggest church we hae had the pleasure of supplying.
The choir are now set to sit in comfort! The fabric chosen is our outstanding "Hoghton Blue".
Wednesday 28th May 2014
All Saints, Stand, Whitefield, Manchester
Back to this fantastic church, more than likely for the last time. This time we provided a new Communion Rail kneeler and an embroidered cushion for the Bishop's Chair.
It has been a great pleasure returning 3 times to All Saints, with cushions for different areas of the church.
The driver also came back smiling with a jar of home produced honey from the kind lady who organised the purchases, in addition to looking after her busy bees.
Of course we had to confiscate the honey from the driver, explaining that perks of this nature would have to be declared to Inland Revenue! And anyway we really like honey........
Friday 4th April 2014
Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland , Close to Suainaval, Isle of Lewis
The driver and mate went via Isle of Skye to deliver to this beautifully situated chapel. The bay close by is typical of this western side of Lewis.
The fabric chosen is one of our brilliant value terra cottas and suits the church so well (Intack Terra Cotta). The cushions were paid for by an anonymous donation.
The donor had seen that the congregation needed a little more comfort, so kindly paid for their pleasure.
Tuesday 27th January 2014
Christchurch, Pointon, Lincs
The two photographs were kindly sent to us by the church warden, the last one taken by us before they were delivered. The fantastic valued fabric is our Diamond Gold/Lady Blue.
Sunday 12th January 2014
St Michael & St John, Clitheroe, Lancs
Our first delivery of the year! St Michaels chose Hopsack Terracotta for their pews, it's a lovely fabric, selected the hundreds available from Plumbs, our major fabric supplier..
These pews are slightly different from most. They have hardly any back to them so require holding in place. You can see discreet use of velcro taping to achieve the right result.
