    Deliveries in 2012

    Thursday 20th December

Delivery to Church of St James, Pulloxhill, Beds.

3rd & final delivery of the day to Pulloxhill, in fact the final delivery of 2012. These cushions are a good idea, any of the congregation who prefer comfort can pick one up and sit in their favourite spot.

It was suggested that more of these cushions may be purchased as they become popular. We got a note from the church " Lovely Job, Thank you" It's our pleasure!

    Thursday 20th December

Delivery to Church of St Peter & Paul, Little Gaddesdon, Herts

2nd delivery of the day to this beautiful church. This is also our second delivery to the church inside a month. The congregation having filled some of the pews with new cushions, decided to complete the job.

Everyone was pleased that we were able to produce the goods before Christmas A note came with the balance "many thanks"

    Thursday 20th December

Delivery to Church of St James, Bramley, Tadley, Hants.

First delivery of the day to this ancient church. Another rainy day! One of the pictures above shows some 16th century wall paintings. They were discovered in more recent times having been plastered over by Puritans.

    Thursday 20th December

Delivery to St Mylor Church, Mylor Bridge, Falmouth

We used a courier for this extra long distance delivery of Altar Rail Kneelers. They chose the same blue as the pictures below of the Dingwall church. (12th December). These two churches are over 700 miles apart!

    Wednesday 19th December

Delivery to St Mark's Church, Mark Cross, Crowborough, East Sussex.

Our driver & mate were made most welcome on a cold, wet & windy evening. Their cup of tea and a snack were much appreciated after a long gruelling drive from base.

The fabric is a substantial chenille and should offer comfort and warmth to all who sit on the new cushions. We got a note from the Church Warden dated 27th December "Everyone is delighted with the cushions and I would like to thank you for fulfilling

the order so quickly and efficiently"

    Wednesday 12th December

Delivery to Dingwall FP Church, Highland, Scotland

Our second visit to this beautiful church in the north of Scotland. It is the first time we've supplied this attractive royal blue fabric. We think & hope it will be very popular.

The chapel above is adjacent to the main body of the church. We got a note from the church. "Thank you for all your help, congregation have all been favourable, so the customers seem to be satisfied!!" The note has reminded the driver of his satisfying day!

    Tuesday 11th December

Delivery to St Mary the Virgin, Mortlake High St., London

These pew cushions were made in a waterproof fabric for a special needs area.

    Tuesday 4th December

Delivery to St Andrew's, Weaverthorpe, Nth Yorkshire.

The church is of Norman origin and stands proudly on top of a hill overlooking the village. The driver borrowed the key (seen in picture above). He said it was the biggest key he'd ever seen and asked for an extra bonus for carrying such a heavy weight.

The covers are in a beautiful terra cotta chenille, going so well with the floor tiles.

    Thursday 29th November

Delivery to St Peter & Paul, at Little Gaddesden, Berkhamsted, Herts

    2nd delivery of the day.

It is a lovely church in a remote rural setting. The covers are again in a beautiful terra cotta chenille (as above), & going so well with the floor tiles.

    Thursday 29th November

Delivery to St Mary's , Steeple Ashton, Trowbridge, Wilts.

This church befits a city, and here it is in a beautiful village. There are at least two different types of ceiling, carved wood & carved stone. The church makes our blue cushions look like a very modest contribution! Worth a visit.

    Tuesday 27th November

Delivery to Waen Congregational Chapel, at St Asaph

This was our second visit and delivery to the chapel. It was the day of the terrible floods in Nth Wales. Luckily a member of the congregation was able to steer our driver to the chapel, managing to detour around the floods.

    Tuesday 13th November

Delivery to Watergate Methodist Chapel , Brecon

    3rd delivery of the day.

    Further details to follow.

Delivery to Christ Church, East Kennett.

    2nd delivery of the day.

This was our fifth visit to the area. St James Church at Avebury being only a short journey down the road. Christ Church is a fine old chapel. We await some further pictures from here.

Delivery to Church of St John the Baptist, Wateringbury, Maidstone.

This is a lovely church outside Maidstone. The fabric chosen is our Lady Blue. The church warden kindly sent these pictures, our driver having forgotten the camera (again). However the pictures are better than he would have taken!

    Wednesday 17th October

Delivery to St Mary & All Saints,Whalley.

The church was awaiting a new carpet so the delivery was made to Church Warden's house. Photo to follow we hope, the picture of the church has been borrowed from their website (thank you).

The pictures came from Whalley, why is it they are always better when the church do their own? The kneeler rail looks so good in this fantastic fabric. Thank you to the Whalley parishioner who provided the pictures.

    Thursday 13th September

Delivery to Cinderford Baptist Church, Gloucester.

The church commands a fantastic position overlooking the Forest of Dean. The last picture above shows a special cushion we made for one of the congregation who needs extra support.

    Tuesday 11th September

Delivery to Church of the Holy Angels, Lilliput.

We sent the parcel by TNT  and received the letter below from Mrs Hunter dated 13th Sept. It makes us blush!

The cushions were in our quality T1002 Blue Chenille fabric. We borrowed the above picture from their website

Our pew cushions arrived at church on Tuesday and we are delighted with them. Thank you very much for the prompt and efficient service.........

    Wednesday 1st September

Delivery to St Mary the Virgin, Marston Moreteyne, Bedford.

The church was built in 15th century. Next to it is a tower where the locals quicly retired to if the village was under attack!

    Wednesday 1st September

Delivery to St John the Evangelist, Little Walden

The church was built in 1894 by a prominent local Quaker. Later the church was given to the Church of England.

    Tuesday 31st July

Delivery to Barnet United Reformed Church .

Evening saw our driver and mate in Barnet. These pews were expertly measured by one of the congregation. There are lots of angles where pew cushions meet. (and angels more than likely!)

    Tuesday 31st July

Delivery to St James Church, Avebury.

Morning saw our driver and mate in Avebury. It was our 4th and probably last visit to this very old church. Included in this last order were some altar kneelers with PVC bases to help against rising damp. (see above).

The church is in an ancient area were there are 3 neolithic stone circles around the village. Our driver was in trouble again, a TV production crew was filming in the church when the delivery was made.

Production halted when the Northern Van Man made his entry!

    Wednesday 11th July

Delivery to St Deiniols Church, Hawarden, Deeside, Clwyd

We delivered before lunch and the driver & mate were amazed by Molly Jones who greeted them and then continued to polish & clean the church. Molly is over 90!

    Tuesday 26th June

Delivery to St Mary's Church, West Acklam, Middlesborough, Nth Yorks

We delivered just after the Morning Service and the driver was greeted by many friendly members of the congregation. None of these lovely people new what the driver had brought, so the Vicar had a great surprise

for them at the following service!  The main body of the church was completed with the fabric we have named "Lady Blue", in addition we did the choir stalls. No more complaints from the choir then!!!  We are so pleased to have

been invited to supply these pew cushions to West Acklam for the parish have come through a very difficult period during which the lead from the roof was stolen twice, culminating in an awful flood which ruined the floor. After much battling,

an insurance claim was honoured & the replacement floor was completed in December 2010. Now new cushions as well, the congregation will be pleased at last, after all the hardship.

The stained glass shown is just a very small part of the spendid West Window. You may like to see further pictures.

    Wednesday 30th May

Delivery to Church of the Holy Rood, Sparsholt, Wantage, Oxfordshire

We delivered on a sunny May day to this Grade 1 listed building. 21 identical size cushions in our Cardinal Henna fabric. They fitted in very well with the old oak pews. We heard by telephone that everybody is well

pleased with the cushions. You might like to see further pictures

    Wednesday 30th May

Delivery to St Edward's Church, Hawling, Cheltenham.

This church was shrouded in scaffolding so we were unable to put the cushions into place. However we've heard by phone from the church warden that the cushions fit very well and they look better than expected! also

chose as above our Cardinal Henna fabric.

    Wednesday 10th May

Delivery to St Mary's Church, Chesham, Bucks
